The following table is a list of nouns that people often hear Rennie use. On the left is how the words are prounonced, followed by an explanation of their meanings.
| Bloke | Male. "What was that bloody bloke's name again?" |
| Boat race | Rhyming slang. Boat race = face. |
| Boofhead | Often used as a term of endearment when talking about a stranger. "Oi! Who's that boofhead over there?" |
| Bottle-oh | Liqor store. "I'll just pop into the bottle-oh and pick something up to take to tonight's do." |
| Brekky | Breakfast. "I don't feel like having much for brekky today" |
| Bugger | A term of endearment. "How ya going, ya mad buggah?" |
| Clacker | Butt. "Me clacker's all numb from sitting down too long." |
| Cods | Testicles. "Oi! Watch out for me cods!" Also occassionally referred to as nads. |
| Dacks | Pants. "Hey check out these cool dacks I just bought!" |
| Dad and Dave | Shave. Rhyming slang. |
| Depth charge | 785 ml (30 fl oz.) can of VB. Note: these may no longer be manufactured, due to persistant rumors that they encouraged intoxication :P |
| Dick dacks | Male swimming trunks. "Put your dick dacks on and let's go for a swim." |
| Ding | A Dent. "Ahh, I see your car's had a bit of a ding?." |
| Do | A party. "Hey are you going to that do at Tom's joint tonight?" |
| Dog and bone | Telephone. Rhyming slang again! |
| Dunny | Bathroom. "Hey, where's the dunny 'round here?" |
| Easer | Thingy. "Where'd I put that bloody easer?" |
| Footy | Football. "Wanna go down the park and have a kick of the footy?" |
| Gob | Mouth. "If you don't shut up, I'll smack ya one in the gob!" |
| Hand grenade | 210 ml (approx 7.37 fl oz.) bottle of VB. |
| Joint | Residence. "We're havin' a do on tonight at my joint. Wanna come?" |
| Poofter | Gay male person. "I reckon that bloke's a bloody poofter." Also used when something doesn't work. "The poofter bloody thing's stuffed!" |
| Pot | 285 ml (or 10 fl. oz) beer glass. "I'll have 2 pots, thanks." |
| Slab | 24 cans or bottles of beer. "I need to pick up a coupl'a slabs at the bottle-oh for tonight's do" |
| Snag | Sausage. "How many snags did you want me to bung on the barbie?" |
| Stubby | 285 ml (10 fl oz.) beer bottle. |
| Stuffed | Broken. "It's no good mate...It's stuffed." Also used as a verb. "Oi! You've stuffed it!" |
| VB | Victoria Bitter. One of the more popular local beers. "I'll have 2 pots of VB thanks barman!" |
