SOME THINGS YOU JUST HAVE TO LOOK UP YOURSELF

Dear WPA,

In a past post i suggested Isaiah 30 as an area in need of study. It was ignored and "countered" with Rev 2:2-6.

Strange juxtaposition...but that is okay...considering that there is an enemy out there pulling strings on people all the time. So we should know how the enemy actually is fighting against the remnant. Personally, if "someone" is out to kill, steal, and destroy you, it would make sense to prepare for these attacks.

Someone was kind enough to send me a personal email and supposedly quoted Rev 2:2-6....and asked "where is the love"...

These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.  Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.

 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.    Two problems...first is that this scripture is not from Rev 2....It is Rev 3....and second it does not actually explain why they are asking "where is the love".

Now if they had actually quoted the Letter to Ephesus, and not SARDIS....the issue would have been loosing THE FIRST LOVE...

Rev 2:1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;

 Rev 2:2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:

 Rev 2:3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.

 Rev 2:4 Nevertheless I have [somewhat] against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

 Rev 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

 Rev 2:6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

So even though this person mixed up their scriptures real badly in order to prove "their point"... even if i lack THE LOVE they want me to show...at least i still HATE THE NICOLAITINS.

But let's say that old dog is encamped in SARDIS... i have written just that 10-20 times in the last 5-6 years...so it does not bother me that someone wants me there. verse 2&3 are great trash talk...but even in Sardis there is a remnant...  Rev 3:4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.    Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Well, it is nice to actually read scripture and be open to RHEMA...but to quote...or  misquote... without actually saying what you are meaning is hard to discern. And discernment of WHAT GOD WANTS is hard enough, to discern people's agenda is impossible.

unless THE MOST HOLY SPIRIT raises RED FLAGS...
