Virgins Brides and Vineyards
In Song of Solomon we find virgins who love the bridegroom because… yet they will inquire of the shulamite the Bride in the making whose relationship to the groom takes her to transcendency and beyond
They love what he is , who He is
and his effects but the Bride is the captive prisoner of His ravishing heart
beating out affections for her… having become entangled in her “tresses” of
locks of hair… In 2 Cor. 11 it talks about a woman’s
hair saying it is her covering upon her head the sign of her authority before
things spiritual. He then is her “hair”
her covering her crown upon her. Thus the entanglement. In the “yarn of entwining” both lovers and
Beloveds dine upon their mutual love for each other. In scripture the Vineyard speaks of
So it is as the heart collective of Christendom gathers together that those who love Jesus are found and of these is found her whose heart is given away. For of a truth Fair Bride doesn’t merely love Him but is IN LOVE WITH Him. She can deny Him nothing
She can withhold nothing
She cannot be separated but seeks transcendent union
For her sacrifice she is
Misunderstood
Beaten
And shamed.
She knows not what is happening
She only knows the driven compulsion that wrack mind and body
Until she transcending overcomes mortality itself to rise unto the object of her obsession… the fair King of GLORY!
If you find her I encourage you to discern her and her plight and treat with grace and mercy for every hand that ill treats this most magnificent creature shall answer as did the watchmen to her husband the King.
How did He repay the watchmen you ask?
How did Xerxes II (Ahasuerus) repay Haman?
Was it for what he tried to do to
Mark well the heathen kings response.
Or ask Adonijah Solomon’s bratty brother.
Adonijah politically attempted a coup which caused Solomon to
be crowned King prematurely. To Solomon David
gave Abishag a Shunamites who had been His warm body
at night and primary care giver in the day.
David left her a virgin and having in his own way prepared her; made her
Solomon’s first wife.
When Adonijah was pardoned by Solomon on condition that he behaved himself and refrain
from being a “horses neck”, came to ask Bathsheba for Abishag the Shunamites’s hand form Solomon… Solomon blew his cork at “mom”. “Take her?’ he basically says “why not just
give him the crown and the throne and the kingdom as well??” Adonijah was slaughtered
that day!
Therefore handle this prisoner of love with great care for she ravished poor Shulamite is not her own. She has been captivated and possessed of Christ’s love.
