Sonnets for Lovers Only
9/22/03
Oh let me come Oh let me strip this poor raiment
of flesh and blood that I naked but for soul encased spirit should present a
living offering unto your majesty
Divine King lovely One pristine, radiant, passion, lover incandescent flame,
here am i
Ne'r abuse or ill intent shall come of thee so I plight my troth to thee
willingly
Come trust deep the sword of thy revelation into my spirits heart and let flow
the ocean of the molten desire...
For thee and thee alone long I lusting wanting waiting till I at last behind
lock and key should come to thee and know satiety and ever more like the moth
to the flame panting await thy next kiss… thy
next impartation and fragrance of grace.... cleft me twain oh King
eternal and let us dance in radiant glory
Oh loves splendor rain down on me! Pure Holy from above unquenchable in an
ocean of water
I am wax misshapen puddled under your radiant gaze
time stops and eternity begins in your eyes....
Sleep flee me for you waste form me my hearts delight ne'r food nor comfits
nourish for they occupy the senses pining to taste your goodness
Oh but for this frail shell of humanity i might ford
the rivers and ascend the peaks of Thee.... oh let me come again to
consume and be consumed breaking bread of spirits till naught more remains but
thee.
I throb I ache I pant ardently do I seek an altar wherein to lay me down that
you may in blissful ravishment devour me again....
