apocalypso 1.3 - great encryption program - supports blowfish, gost, idea, rijndael, misty 1, twofish, and cast 256 for files; and hnc single, hnc multi, and des for text. Atbash v2.0 - encryption program with ciphertext that can be transmitted by Morse Code or voice (as well as by modem or disk). Shareware. (74k). BestCrypt - The BestCrypt software products keep your private data in the encrypted form on the disk and provide you with the transparent access to it from any application program. Works within DOS, Windows 3.xx, Windows 95/98 and Windows NT. BestCrypt 6.0 - BestCrypt's supported algorithms include: DES, Gost, Blowfish, Twofish (more can easily be added). It creates 'virtual drives', or 'containers'. the data in these containers are held encrypted with multiple or single strong algorithms until you enter your passwords, in which all data will be accessible. BestCrypt Wipe 2.04 - the command line freespace and file wiper. Blowfish Crypt - This program is a very secure encryption program. It uses a 400-bit symmetric key when it encrypts a file. CAP - a complete tool for cryptanalysis. It allows for encryption and decryption using several common algorithms. It provides tools for cryptanalysis of these and other ciphers. Among the tools are frequency analysis, Kasiski analysis, word patterns, anagramming, and a special autosolve tool. In addition, CAP provides a GAME option that will randomly generate ciphers and challenge you to break them. Cedomir Igaly's SSH - Free SSH for Windows. CIPE - Crypto IP Encapsulation - an ongoing project to build encrypting IP routers. Citadel - kernel level system security for Win95/98. CodedDrag - Program to integrate data encryption into the Windows 95/NT 4.0 shell - encrypts your personal data using strong encryption algorithms like Triple DES and Blowfish. Embedded into the Windows Desktop. Crack for WinCrypt - CRYPTION '97 - This simple program works with Win 9x, and will easily encrypt and decrypt your files. Not very good protection, but good enough for lamer attacks. cryptiX - Java crypto library. Crypto v3.0B - Crypto++ 3.1 - a free C++ class library of cryptographic schemes. Currently the library consists of the following, some of which is other people's code, repackaged into classes. EHD (encrypted-home-directory) - This is a patch for login to create and use strongly encrypted home directories. It requires a 2.2.X kernel that has been patched to use strong encryption (ie. IDEA, BLOWFISH, ...) using patches available from www.kerneli.org. This release allows the user to choose the size of his/her home directory and fixes a bug wherein it was possible for the loop device not to be correctly freed. Encrypt-It - Shareware Encrypt-It for Win95/NT lets you quickly and easily scramble the contents of a file so no one else can read it - or even know what kind of information was there. Encrypt-It offers you a very high level of security, yet it is easy to use, even for people who are not technical. Encrypted Magic Folders - hides, encrypts and scrambles your folders, make detection of directories impossible, even under Win95 and DOS. Encrypted Magic Folders 99.10.1 - like the original Magic Folders, plus automatically encrypts and decrypts your files along with hiding and showing them. Encrypted PDFs - Code to work with encrypted PDF's (intended mainly for use with Ghostscript). Endec 1.0 - Endec is another great Win 95 Encryption and Decryption tool. It can encrypt emails to protect it from 3rd parties, and it can modify text files. You can also use Endec 1.0 to disable access to certain files, like .zip's or .exe's. This is one of the best Win 95 protection programs. evidence eliminator 2.02 - it securely deletes the following: windows swap files, recycling bin, temporary files, user profiles, recent documents, run history, find computer/file history, all sorts of ie/netscape stuff like history/cookies/cache, outlook/netscape mail stuff, custom files and folders (add what you want to the list), unwanted file types (.chk, .tmp, .gif, etc), registry backups, free space/clusters, and much more. can be set to overwrite with: zero, zero + reverse, or zero + reverse + randomize. Fast Encryption v1.2 - Fed v1.1 - File Encryptor and Decryptor - A very well done encryption/decryption program that encrypts your programs with several algorithims to cover it. Fortify for Netscape - is a program that provides world-wide, unconditional, full strength 128-bit cryptography to users of Netscape Navigator (v3) and Communicator (v4). If you routinely use Netscape's export-grade web browsers, (i.e. the ones you can download from the Internet), then you need Fortify. Fortress 101 - A program with some very nice features. With Fortress, you can hide files, and allow access to only certain things. You can set it so only the admistrator can reboot the pc, or not allow anything to be deleted or altered. You can also monitor what other users are doing, and many more. Havoc's Cyphertext Encryption - Hide and Seek 4.1 - it can hide file in a gif file. depending on the size of the file and the colors of the gif, you may notice some or a lot of degrading in the image. works best w/black and white images. a key can also be used to further encrypt the data. includes source code. IC-CRYPT - 128 bit encryption system for ICQ, 30-day free trial shareware. KOH Encryptor - This encrypion program supposedly will encrypt your disks/drives. It is said to work somewhat like a virus,spreads to all parts of your pc to encrypt it all. Kremlin 2.21 - great encryption and secure deletion suite. has drag&drop interface to encrypt or decrypt the file using the algorithm you choose in the settings. it can be set to perform various operations (like standard/thorough wipe of multiple drives/wipe all memory/clear windows and browser histories, wipe specific files or directories) at a certain times to keep your sensitive data from reaching others eyes. it also can safely wipe any drive, free space, memory, file slack, etc with an unlimited amount of overwrite loops. and the secdel.exe is an easy recycling bin-like program. Kremlin is easy to set up and supports the blowfish, rc4, cast-128, safer sk-128, idea, and newdes algorithms. lethe.c - advanced encoding algorhitm. Mach5 - 160-bit encryption software. Mutation Encryption v1.0 - mutilate file wiper 2.33 - the file destroying utility. Nautilus 1.0 - a program that lets you have encrypted voice telephone conversations with your friends without needing any special equipment. The MSDOS version requires a Soundblaster compatible sound card while the Linux version can also support some additional cards. (78k). Nautilus 1.5 - source code (305k). Nautilus 1.5 - new version with network support for Unix version, speciall low-rate coder, improved communications protocols for more reliable operation. Nautilus Secure Phone - speech encryption software. Notepad ++ - txt/rtf text editor, it has several encryption algorythms plus a few usefull tools built in. OurBiz - by Elf Qrin - Online personal encryption tool for private communications. Paradox - Pegwit for Windows - a program for performing public key encryption and authentication. PGP Tools from Net Services - Windows software to integrate many email programs into PGP. PGPfone - Pretty Good Privacy Phone - software package that turns your desktop or notebook computer into a secure telephone. It uses speech compression and strong cryptography protocols to give you the ability to have a real-time secure telephone conversation via a modem-to-modem connection. It also works across the Internet. Private Idaho - a Windows frontend to PGP, anonymous remailers. RANDKEY 2.00 - Generate random bytes in a file from random keystrokes (12k). Sapphire II Stream Cipher - software for Encryption, Pseudorandom Number Generation, and Cryptographic Hash Generation (55k). ScramDisk 2.02c - encrypts your drives, folders, files, uses IDEA, 3DES, TEA, Square, Blowfish, and MISTY1 algorithms. SCRMLE - Secure 1.1 - encryption program. It runs primarily in a DOS box, but don't let that fool you. You are able to encrypt well any type of file with this program. Secure will scramble the file using a complex secret key algorithim along with a password which you choose. Anyone without the password cannot access the file. Secure Drive v1.3c - Secure File System (SFS) - This program will encrypt your entire hard drive to protect you from unwanted hackers. Secure SAFE - Released Under the GNU General Public License, Secure SAFE is a handy utility that utilises a 128 bit secure encryption system for storage of your internet passwords and secret notes. Security Setup - One of the great Win 95 encryption programs. It will allow you to modify the menus, features, etc. so that your personal data is well protected. Speak Freely for Unix - a application for a variety of Unix workstations that allows you to talk (actually send voice, not typed characters) over a network. If your network connection isn't fast enough to support real-time voice data, various forms of compression may allow you, assuming your computer is fast enough, to converse nonetheless.
