| This is only R2K's second season and we've had 4 - third place finishes and 1 - first place win, just this last Saturday - Sept. 7th, 2002. We're really proud of the car and John's opportunity to fulfill his dreams. God is so good to us, and He always gives us the desires of our heart, as long as they aren't in conflict with His Word. R2K is stock and legal. With less than $1000 in the whole car, put together from junkyard parts, gifts from his brothers and whatever he could scrape up to add in, R2K is the MOST unique car on the track. For 2 seasons, R2K has been the people's car, and as the underdog, the crowd always took note of how John was doing and where R2K placed each race. Saturday night when R2K crossed the finish line a full car length in front of the best of it's competition, the entire audience stood up and cheered! Folks are asking us for T shirts and pictures, so we've got to get busy and provide these to our fans. What is also special at the Cordele Motor Speedway (check out their website - www.cordelemotorspeedway.com) is John's brother Banks and Banks' 15 yr old son Chad who all race in the mini stock class. Their sister, Sandra Kay was thinking about joining them, but she's busy on the road in her semi truck. If she ever does build a car and join them, everybody better watch out! She's fast and she's tough, they won't scare her away easily. In fact, Sandra had a cancer healing at the very same time as John.
