I did go to college for Criminal Justice, and while I was doing that, I did some part time work for an insurance agent. I realized the income potential & the freedom of self-employment that he had. I was also very interested in the business. I think it has been the best decision I ever made. What is your political preference? huh? All I know is I pay too many taxes and I am sick of war! What are your favorite colors? Tan, Beige, Gold (I love warm earth colors) What is your favorite food? Steak mmmmmm What do you watch the most on TV? Fear Factor, American Idol, The Bachelor...I also like legal documentaries such as American Justice & MSNBC Investigates. What do you spend your typical weekends doing? Studying (related to ongoing education in the insurance industry), Laundry, Cleaning, TV, playing with my kids. exciting, huh? What was the single most significant turning point in your life? It has to be a cross between having my daughter Shantal and becoming a born-again Christian. But I am still young, and experiencing many significant turning points. Building my Insurance Agency, I think will turn out to be another one. What is your biggest Pet Peeve? People assuming that I am naive and unintelligent because I am young. What do you do when your depressed or upset? Call a friend, watch a comedy or give myself a little makeover. (paint my toenails or something) What is your favorite movie? That my life isn't as 'peachy' as it seems on this website. I try to make it very realistic, but I get a lot of emails from young girls saying things like, "Seeing your success story makes me realize that teen pregnancy isn't so bad" That couldn't be more opposite from what I would want them to realize. If you could go back and change your life, what would you change first? Just like everyone else, I have made my fair share of mistakes. I am not sure what I would change, because I think everything happens for a reason. But If I had to pick something, I guess it would be an abortion I had. I will forever regret that. What advice would you give someone who may be experiencing hard times in their life? Don't give up-the answer to your problem is JESUS CHRIST. It couldn't be simpler. Back to my room |
