Probably the best NOFX album to date, it combines the fast paced new-wave-thrash punk we have come to expect from the quartet, with a renewed sense of how to write punk rock songs. The album opens with the scratchy, single guitar of El Hefe before launching into the manically fast drum beat and out of tune vocals fans have come to expect with a surprisingly lyrically adept song, making Linoleum one of the albums best offerings. Fat Mike (guitar, vocals) explores such wonderful lyrical terirory of 'Punk' guys, social drinking, and thoughtless anti-establishmetism. O.K. so Kurt Cobain shouldn't be looking over his shoulder on the basis of this record, but NOFX do combine some very catchy riffs, and in places half decent lyrics to produce a fast paced, feel good album, Jeff wears birkenstocks, happy guy, and fleas are NOFX classics, some of the bands best ever songs. If punk's your thing then this album's riffs will probably work their way into some of your favourite. If not then it's just another thrashing NOFX album.
