Truth As I stand in front of the mirror, My eyes show fear, For I see beauty, But what’s inside is unsightly. Deep inside I’m filled with hate, yet all I can do is blame it on fate, People believe me to be so vain, but they can’t see that inside I’m in pain. I live by the night, because I fear the truth of the light, I used to care only about winning, but I’ve realized it’s left me with nothing. So I stand here alone, seeing now that my fate’s been shown, Until I love myself for who I am, there is not another soul who can.
