| So many subjects to choose from. Only one life time to rant.... I guess I'll start with HOCKEY. Being a born and raised canadian tomgirl, it is a pig passion of mine. I love hockey, and no offence to the americans but let's face it; it's a canadian game. Then the Americans waltz in with their big bucks and take all our great players. That's not so bad, pretty predictable right? Then we stop winning the cup, so people come on-line telling me that canadians are not that great of players because our teams never win the cup! Well DUH, we have very few CANADIAN players left in canada. another thing pissing me off in NHL right now is CBC getting rid of Don Cherry, that was a heartbreaker right there. So what if he insults the Americans and the French?! They both insult us, it's just the way it is. Don Cherry is the reason that half of my generation got into hockey! Always tuning in to see what weird suit or hat he'd break out that day and what crude comment he'd spit out with that oh so serious face. I have to say, "Hockey night in Canada" will be nothing without him. Now, onto the strike; GIVE ME A BREAK. A salary cap is a GREAT idea. The hockey players are WAY overpaid for what they are acheiving. None of these players are breaking very many of Gretzkys records, yet half of them are making more money than he was. How is that fair?! Not to mention, A salary cap may keep some of our Canadian players in Canada. I could go on for hours about hockey, but I'll spare you the bore. WOMEN, believe it or not, they probably drive me crazier than men ever could. I know I am supposed to be one, but I just don't understand them. For one, thousands of dollars on make up and clothes - What the heck is that? I'm a Wal-mart girl myself, and I think I look pretty good when I try to - without spending thousands of dollars or putting on make-up. Most other women can too, I don't see why they waiste good partying money on that brandnames and whale fat. Another thing that drives me mad - "Oh no, I'm not hungry." *5 minutes later* "Oh sure, you ate the whole thing didn't even share!" Man: "You said you were not hungry." Woman: "You were just supposed to KNOW that I changed my mind." I really don't get it, if you want something; ASK. You just might get it. Women that claim give oral sex is disgusting annoy me too. Because most of them expect to recieve it, and even if they don't; it's very important to most men. It's all about them, something the woman is doing just to please them, to show them how she cares. Even if you hate it, it's only a few minutes of your time and it pleases your man. So get over it and get on your knees. (Swallow too goddamnit, you're making women look like prudes, besides it's good for you.) Oh and they constantly lie and manipulate to achieve power and avoid people thinking badly of them. I mean, who really cares what some bozo you don't even know or respect cares about you?! (I do realize that this is not all women, since I am one myself, and that some men are even guilty of doing some of these things, but I'm speaking about the average of people I've met.) -Will add more later |
