I enjoy taking photos especially of my wonderful grandchildren. My hobby has turned into part of my everyday life.
Entry for September 06, 2006

Today is the first day of school for Charley, Hunter and Santino.  Charley is going into the 5th grade as was very nervous this am.  Her lips were quivering.  She will do great.  She is really a good kid who is very well behaved.  Hunter is Hunter and will give Mrs. Watson a run for her money.  But he also will do great.  Now down to Santino who is in his last year of preschool.  He is so smart for his age.  He knows his numbers and letters and can he draw.  He does great.  Charlie and I have much to be proud of with our grandchildren.

Dear Lord, Please guide me each day to do Your will.  Give me patience, do not make me bitter or nasty, let me think before I do something that will upset You. Amen.

Today's reading:  When the Holy Spirit controls our lives, He will produce.....faithfulness.  God saved you by His special favor when you believed.  And you can't take credit for this:  it is a gift from God.  It is impossible to please God without faith.  Anyone who wants to come to Him must believe there is a God and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him.  There is not judgement awaiting those who trust Him.  But those who do not trust Him have already been judged for not believing in the only Son of God.  I do believe, but help me not to doubt!  Those who obey God's word really do love Him.  That is the way to know whether or not we live in Him.  That is why we live by believing and not by seeing.  I have been crucified with Christ.  I myself no longer live, but Christ lives in me.  So I live my life in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.  You love Him even though you have never seen Him.  Though you do not see Him, you trust Him: and even now you are happy with a glorious, inespressible joy.  When someone give you a gift, do not say, "That's very nice--now how much do I owe you?"  No, the appropriate response is "Thank you."  Yet, how often Christians feel obligated to try to work their way to God.  Instead, we should respond with gratitude, praise and joy.  LAB note for Ephesians 2:8-9.
