Rain, rain, rain....that was what soccer was like last evening.  Not so bad during Hunter's game; but during Charley's we got soaked.  Hunter played goalie on the opposite team last evening for awhile.  He did a really good job. Then he went back to his own team and did a great job for them, too.  Charley has a pretty bad ear infection.  In fact she has a wick in her ear to help get the medicine in.   Hopefully all that rain didn't harm her ear at all.   I just called her and her medicine went right down in her ear so I guess all is well.  Hunter starts flag football practice tomorrow.  He can hardly wait until next year when he is in pads.  Tomorrow is their last soccer games.  Charley will begin practicing for the traveling team that she is on.  Winter is not any better than summer.  More and more sports. 

Dear Lord, Please guide me each day to do your will.  Give me patience, do not make me bitter or nasty, let me think before I do something that will upset You.  Amen.

Todays reading: Is there any god in heaven or on earth who can perform such great deeds as yours?  Who in all of heaven can compare with the Lord?  What mightiest angel is anything like the Lord?  O Lord God Almighty!  Where is there anyonhe as mighty as You.  Lord?  Faithfulness is Your very character.  Nowhere among the pagan gods is there a god like You.  O Lord.  There are no other miracles like Yours.  All heaven will praise Your miracles.  Lord; myraids of angels will praise You for Your faithfulness.  For the sake of Your promise and according to Your will, You have done all these great things and have shown them to me.  How great You are, O Sovereign Lord!....We have never even heard of another god like You!  "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him."  But we know these things because God has revealed them to us by His Spirit and His Spirit searches out everything and shows us even God's deep secrets.  Have you never heard or understood?  Don't you know that the Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth?  He never grows faint or weary.  In the courts of heaven, a host of angels praise the Lord.  The scene is one of such majesty and grandeur to show that our God is beyong compare.  His power and purity place Him high above nature and angels.                             LAB note for Psalm 89:5
