Today's reading:  All praise to Him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by shedding His blood for us.  Many waters cannot quench love, neither can rivers drown it.  Love is as strong as death.  The greatest love is shown when people lay down their lives for their friends.  He personally carried away our sins in His own blood on the cross so we can be dead to sin and live for what is right.  You have been healed by His wounds!  He is so rich in kindness that He purchased our freedom through the blood of His Son, and our sins are forgiven. Your sins have been washed away, and you have been set apart for God.  You have been made right with God because of what the Lord Jesus Christ and the Spirit of our God have done for you.  You are a chosen people.  You are a kingdom of priests, God's holy nation, His very own possession.  This is so you can show others the goodness of God, for He called you out of the darkness into His wonderful light.  I plead with you to give your bodies to God.  Let them be a living and holy sacrifice-the kind He will accept.  When you think of what He as done for you, is this too much to ask?  We are to love each other as Jesus loved us, and He loved us enough to give His life for us.  We may not have to die for someone, but there are other ways to practice sacrificial love: listening, helping, encouraging, giving.   Think of someone in particular who need this kind of love today--AND GIVE IT!!!  LAB note for John 15:12-13.
