Well, today Meg and her mom got some major butt callouses from a couple of bikes with hard seats. This morning (well, afternoon by the time Meg got up), they packed some food and flip flops and headed out to Kemeri National Park. In the brochures, this looked like an awesome touristy place...false advertising. It was depressing and soviet. They don't recommend it unless you're really into hiking and pain. Oh they enjoyed it alright, but it was a lot of exercise. It started out with a 3 km bike ride to the raised bog, where we parked the bikes. Then they hiked out 2 km to get to the actual bog part. Then they walked along uneven boards in the raised bog for 4 1/2 km. All this was a lot of fun, but they were definitely glad they were used to walking. Meg got a lot of cool pictures, though! Now, as Meg just nearly broke the computer desk at the hostel where she's typing, she's decided she better go ahead and end this post.

This is the part where Meg comments on her own blog, because she is just that sad.
