The November 9^th court date was the first one we were not present for. We were in Arizona researching a memorial bench that we had found on the Internet. We looked at hundreds of benches and this bench we found is so perfect it warranted a two thousand-mile drive to see it in person. The dedication of War Memorial Playground will begin at 10:00 am on Saturday December 8^th, 2008.

Archibeque's next court appearance will be his preliminary hearing which is set for 9:00 am Monday morning the 4^th of February, 2008 in Department 24 .of the Superior Court in San Jose California.

The Judge will then send Archibeque to an assigned courtroom where his preliminary hearing will get under way. I expect this hearing to last several days.

The main function of this hearing is to discover if there is probable cause to believe that the accused committed a known crime within the jurisdiction of the court. If the judge does not find probable cause, the case is dismissed; however, if the judge or magistrate finds probable cause for such a belief, Archibeque will be bound over for trial.
