Though I did not attend Santa Clara High School(I attended Bellarmine-Class of 81'), I do remember her violent murder as I was a freshman in high school at the time. I am also glad the person responsible for this senseless act is now behind bars. I would very much appreciate it if you would forward my name in support for this playground's name change.

I live out of state and would not be able to attend the city counsel meeting, but I support the idea of naming the park after Mary. It's a wonderful way to be able to honor her life that was cut so short. Best
of luck!

I hope that justice will be served and Mary will finally be at peace, My heart and prayers go out for her family and friends. For over thirty years now we have waited, and now we can let ourselves heal

It would be a proper tribute to rename the park.

I grew up in Santa Clara and went to Santa Clara High School at the same time Mary did. Her murder affected us all and to this day I have not forgotten about her. I would like to see the park re-named for her and be kept updated on the long awaited trial.
Thanks,
Kelly

I just finished serving as a prospective jury on Mary Quigley's case, and I am so touched by her story that I wholeheartedly support your effort to change the name of the park and create a lasting Memorial in Mary's honor!
