Tres Picos 2005 Garnacha

100% grenache!  Deep dark juice with a beautiful nose of fresh berries and notes of vanilla caramel (the soft gourmet caramels with butter residue on the surface).  Nice mouthfeel--at once powerful, but sensuous.  A rich extract of dark berries mingle with hints of leather and licorice mid-palate, followed by a lengthy finish that draws you back for another sip.  Delicious!  I want to drink this with Five Spice Braised Short Ribs!
