First of all, we apologize for the length of time that has passed since our last entry!  = )  We have been a little busy these last few weeks preparing for, waiting on and finally greeting Kathryn Mae to our family! 

After a false start on Valentines Day, Katie Mae joined us on February 15th -- a birthday that she shares with two of our friends (Jennifer in the US, and Sandra in NZ)!  She is beautiful (if we dare say so ourselves!) and brings delight to our lives.  James loves to hold his little sister and give her kisses; although sometimes he looks at her as if he's not quite sure what she's doing here! 

Jim's parents arrived last week for their visit -- bringing news from home as well as tons of gifts!  It was great to hear in person how things are going in Texas, at CCSWM and with the family.  And James had a field day going through the suitcases while pulling out all the goodies.  Our thanks to all y'all who sent them our way.  It was like Christmas in February! 

We have had a great time with Jimmy and Laverne, enjoying times of talking, showing them around the city, and watching them play with James and Katie.  James thinks they are the best toys ever -- and runs them ragged with all his energy!  I know he will miss them when they return to the States, as will we.  They have spoiled me (Susie) since their arrival, helping with James and Katie, laundry, dishes and other house work!  I'm not sure I'll readjust after they leave!
