What's So Dangerous About Putting Company Names on Resumes?

FAQs

Q1. What's so dangerous about putting company names on resumes?
A: Putting company names on resumes is dangerous, because it can backfire on me easily, and therefore not in my best interest. Corporate clients are known to do vanity searches, i.e. they search the web periodically and look for documents that mention their company names. If you're an employee or contractor and are searching for a better job or contract, is it a good idea to let your employers know that you're looking? I don't think so. (37-C2)

Q2. How can I contact you?
A: Give me a call or send me e-mail.
