But This Is a "Permanent" Position.

FAQs

Q1. But this is a "permanent" position.
A: In today's economy nothing is permanent, except change. In today's economy, reorganizations and layoffs are so common that they're not even in the news anymore. "Permanent" jobs, especially "permanent" jobs in software engineering, are either being eliminated or sent to India, China, or Russia where wages and salaries are lower. Of course, there are exceptions and sometimes you see a few "permanent" jobs that have lasted longer than two years, but they're not the rule, only one of the few exceptions to the rule. "Permanent", "direct", "contract-to-direct" and "full time" are becoming euphenisms for a 2+ year contracts at low rates. And these low rates get even lower if we take into account a few hidden "negative benefits" like zero per diem and zero overtime money. (9/10-C1)

Q2. How can I contact you?
A: Give me a call or send me e-mail.
