1968-74 Practiced gymnastics (W.K.S. Gwardia).

1975 Started training karate (style Shotokan) while being in University in Budapest Hungary where he received his brown belt 1-KYU.

1976 Started to practice karate Kyokushinkai, which he still does.

1979 As a member of Hungarian team, he took part in the II World Tournament in Tokyo, Japan.

1980 He received his 1-DAN in Hungary under the eye of Howard Collins, instructor from England (European Heavyweight Champion).

1980 First place in the lightweight category in Bytom (VII Polish Championships).

1980 First place in the lightweight category in Hungarian Championships. Was awarded a title for being the "Best Technical" fighter.

1982 Second place in the lightweight category in the Open Hungarian Championships.

1982 Ibusz Oyama Cup- title for being the best student.

1983 Received his 2-DAN in Budapest from Masutatsu Oyama 10-DAN (Founder of the style).

1985 Representing Poland, he won the European Championships in Barcelona (Spain).

1986 Received his 3-DAN in Hungary from Howard Collins. During the grading he had to fight 50 fights non-stop.

1986 Left to Los Angeles, USA where he trained 4 months with Chuck Norris.

1987-88 Trained at the "Jet Center" kickboxing club with World Champion Benny "The Jet" Urquidez. He received a license for teaching kickboxing.

1988 Came to Canada and taught karate and kickboxing in clubs like "Twin Dragon", "Northern Karate School", and M.A.F.A. (Martial Arts Fitness Academy).

1995 Opens his own club "Shindo" which means "True Way".

1995 Took part in the North American Black Belt Conference, were he received his 4-DAN from Shokei Matsui who is Masutatsu Oyama's successor.
