| OBITUARIES Obituaries from the Park Rapids, Minnesota newspaper Enterprise, courtesy of Hubbard County Historical Society. July 21, 1899 Robbins Laurel, daughter of M.S. and Helen Robbins, was born in McLeod county, Minn., February 22, 1887 and died at the home of her parents in Becker county, July 14, 1899, of Bronchitis. Deceased was a member of the Sunday School at the Gary school house near her home. She was very much esteemed by all who knew her. She was resigned to the will Of God in her departure from this world. She leaves to mourn, her parents, one brother W.D.Robbins, four sisters, Mrs. J. Clark of North Dakota, Mrs. A.G. Sackett, Mrs. Wm. Minke (sic), and Miss Orrissa Robbins. Funeral services were held at the Gary school house on Sunday July 16. Internment in Greenwood Cemetery, Rev Wm. Rice officiating. July 28, 1899 Meinke Maude Izella, wife of William H. Meinke and daughter of M.S. and Helen Robbins, born at Brownton, Minn., died at her home in Osage township, Becker county, July 25, 1899. She was the victim of that dread disease, quick consumption. The deceased was born at Brownton, Minn. September 18, 1877. She leaves to mourn for her, husband, father, mother, one brother, W.D. Robbins of Akeley, three sisters, Mrs. James Clark of North Dakota, Mrs. A.G. Sackett of Osage and Orrissa Robbins at home. Funeral services were held at the Gray school house on Thursday, July 27, Rev., Wm. Rice officiating. Internment was made in Greenwood cemetery. September 1, 1899 Robbins On Sunday, Aug 27th, in Osage township, Miss Orrissa Robbins, daughter of M.S. and Hellen (sic) Robbins, passed away from earth. Miss Robbins was the victim of quick consumption and was the last one of three sisters to be stricken by this dread disease within the past seven weeks at their father's home. The deceased was born at Brownton, Minn., December 27, 1882. She leaves one brother, W.D. Robbins of Akely and two sisters, Mrs. James Sackett of Osage and Mrs. A.G. Sackett of Osage besides her parents to mourn her death. Her funeral was held at the Geary (sic) school house Tuesday at 10 o'clock, Rev. Wm. Rice conducting the services. Internment was made in Greenwood cemetery. |
