Meiosis 1
Inheritance is closely related to genetics. During inheritance, a process called meiosis is performed. There are two parts to Meiosis: Meiosis I and Meiosis II. These parts are really similar in many ways. You will notice the similarities as you continue reading.
Meiosis 1 includes 5 steps: Interphase, Prophase 1, Metaphase 1, Anaphase 1, and Telophase 1.
Steps
Prophase 1

Metaphase 1

Anaphase 1

Telophase 1

              Description

The nucleus membrane start to disappear and the spindle fiber starts to form.

The chromosomes move to the center of  the cell or the equator.

The chromosomes separate to the end of each side. The chromosomes is double stranded.

The cytoplasm divides and it forms 2 daughter cells. The daughter cells has half the number of chromosomes as the          parent cells. Each daughter cells have 4 chromosomes.
