Lebnon to restor seven villages annexed by the French mandate to Palestine

lebanese Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss has asserted Lebanon's determination to restore the seven Lebanese villages which were annexed by the French mandate to plestine upon demarcating the southern borders of Lebanon in agreement between the French and the British.

In a statement to his media bureau in Beirut on Wednesday, al-Hoss added that restoring the seven Lebanese villages will be one of the several topics that will be debated in the peace talks, together with Lebanon's persistence to fully implement UN resolution 425. Al-Hoss continued that the seven villages do not fall in the context of Un Security Council resolution 425 because they are not within the territories occupied by Israel in 1978.
