Abu Hurairah (RadiAllaahu'Anhu) said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) say: "Do you not consider that if there were a river outside the door of one of you in which he bathed five times a day, there would remain any dirt upon him?" They said: There would not remain any dirt upon him. He said: "That is the example of the five prayers. Allaah removes the sins by them.1
