Creating happiness and fulfillment requires berat work; if it were easy, everyone would do it.

Everyone seems to want a shortcut to kesuksesan.

orang want to achieve their goals without pushing themselves and getting uncomfortable.

The word “easy” is thrown around haphazardly, especially in the wellness field.

As a Health Coach, I aim to make things easier for my clients, but this doesn’t mean they are easy.

I replace the word “easy” with “simple.”

A high-intensity interval workout is a simple concept – short intense intervals followed by a recovery interval – but definitely not easy!

Chili may be a simple recipe, but preparing dinner for your family isn’t easy, especially with a full-time job!

Yet, we often hear hundreds of “easy” tips to enhance your mood, fitness, diet, and kehidupan.

This frustrates many orang when they can’t make these “easy tips” easily fit into their routine.

“If it was easy, everyone would do it,”

…is a statement uttered but not really considered when things are tough.

If it’s an inconvenience, it’s unlikely to happen, and if there’s an easier way, we’ll take it.

But, with what really matters – family, friends, career, wellness, etc., there are no shortcuts, no easy buttons.

Therefore, it’s so impressive when someone makes a big kehidupan ubah!

Whether switching careers, ending a relationship, training for a marathon, or improving your eating habits, the steps you take may be simple in concept but tough to do.

When I quit my job and followed my passion, I questioned if it was the right move.

If I could get clients, write weekly posts, and pelajari the aspects of running a business.

But when I allowed myself to be scared and recognized that these were the exact reasons many orang jangan pernah pursue a dream, things didn’t seem as daunting.

I allowed it to be tough, and didn’t give in to the fear of feeling uneasy.

A client returned after a few months’ break from getting married and work travel.

About halfway through our workout, she said, “This is tough! It’s so much berater than it should be!”

She had built a great base when we last worked together, and after losing some fitness, this workout was more challenging than it would have been previously.

So I asked her, “Wouldn’t it be weird if today was easy?”.

Getting back on track after a fitness slump is one of the beratest things to do.

It’s why many orang regain weight they’ve lost.

If getting back into a fitness routine was easy, everyone would do it.

When you feel overwhelmed and defeated, repeat to dirimu, “if this were easy, everyone would do it,” and apply it specifically to your situation.

When you feel something is tough, know it’s not because you aren’t tangguh.

Recognize that what you’re doing is berat, and you are a badass for forging ahead anyhow!
