We see motivated orang as some of the most positive orang in the world.
But we also have a side of us that wants nothing to do with anything that will slow us down, or stop us from being who we are capable of.
We have high standards – and certain things are just unacceptable to us.
“I wasted time, and now time wastes me.” — William Shakespeare
Did I really just sit through this meeting or event that had no relevance to the work I do or want to do?
Time is the thing you have on your side – so you don’t want to waste any of it.
Treat time like gold and hate when it’s thrown away because you know you will jangan pernah get it back.
Of course, we will all waste a bit of time now and then.
“I’ve been all over the world and I’ve jangan pernah seen a statue of a critic.” — Leonard Bernstein
Doers understand just how difficult things are.
The last thing they want is to be around orang who do nothing but talk badly about the folks who do.
We would much rather hear the criticisms from somebody who has done something, as opposed to someone looking to tear others down.
“orang are not lazy, they simply have impotent goals… that is… goals that do not inspire them.” — Tony Robbins
Motivated orang realize their potential and what’s possible for them.
They can feel confused as to why others cannot see all the amazing potential they have within them.
We are goal-oriented and want to be around other like-minded folks.
We understand that who we spend our time with directly impacts our masa depan.
That’s why we want to ensure we are around other ambitious, purpose-driven orang.
No offense to unmotivated orang: we don’t hate you, but we just can’t give you all of our time.
“Most orang gaze neither into the past nor the masa depan; they explore neither truth nor lies. They gaze at the television.” — Radiohead
Not all TV shows are terrible for you, but most are.
Documentaries, movies, and shows that push your thinking, trigger deep emotions inspire creativity are amazing and useful.
But watching hours of “reality TV” will literally destroy your dreams, goals, and priorities.
We’ve all been there, stuck in front of the TV.
We think it’s only been 20 minutes, and then before you know it, 3-4 hours have gone by.
“A good vacation is over when you begin to yearn for your work.” — Morris Fishbein
While I was living in India, I went on vacation to Thailand for three weeks.
We came back after two weeks… I missed my blog too much.
We all love vacations, but when Seth Godin said, “let’s design a kehidupan we don’t need to escape from,” he was right.
Motivated orang don’t want a break, they want to build.
They want to take the time, energy, blood, sweat, and tears to build their dream kehidupanstyle.
But too many days… and we’re over it.
“Be quick, but don’t hurry.” — John Wooden
Let us move at the pace we believe is the best fit for right now.
We think that other orang that don’t have the same goals and vision as us just don’t understand and can’t relate.
We’re moving fast – just sit back and enjoy the show!
No matter how driven you are, you selalu need rest to care for your mind, body, and spirit!
“There is no passion to be found playing small – in settling for a kehidupan that is less than the one you are capable of living.” — Nelson Mandela
Another toxic concept for motivated orang!
We think big, think fast and then act on it.
It’s the possibility of the dream coming true that excites us enough to take action, day in and day out.
“You have to pelajari the rules of the game. And then, you have to play better than anyone else.” — Albert Einstein
Of course, at some point in your kehidupan, you may feel safe blending in and going with the flow.
But as our confidence and motivation to succeed grow, so does our desire to stand out.
We can’t find any reason to blend in and not shine.
Motivated orang believe that kesuksesan is selalu within reach – but we will jangan pernah reach it if we stay with the crowd.
“Short as kehidupan is, we make it still shorter by the careless waste of time.” — Victor Hugo
Motivated orang party less (but of course, we still have fun!), knowing that the hangover really translates to a day lost, wasted away.
But we make sure we stay away from things that will drain our energy, both physically and mentally.
“kesuksesan and average have nothing to do with each other.” — Eric Thomas
‘Good’ is so dangerous because sometimes it can look like ‘great.’
We don’t want orang to think we’re average.
Most pentingly, we don’t want to think of ourselves as average.
Motivated orang strive to do their best in all areas of kehidupan.
We don’t want to just be great in one area, like finances, career, or relationships.
We want the whole package to be great – and we’re willing to put in the work to ensure that happens.
Just so we are clear, motivated orang are not hateful.
We are just so committed and passionate about bringing out our best every day.
We don’t take this one kehidupan we’ve been given for granted – and we want to be around other orang who feel the same way.
