When I can be prized away from the pc, I do have one or two other interests in life.

My wife and I are big into gardening, we bought our first home five years ago because it had a large garden and while we have redecorated just two rooms in the house to date, we have moved half a tropical rain forest into the back yard. I also have a small collection of Cacti, just a hundred or so, so far.

I also used (I say used but I intend to get back to it soon) to wood carve, mostly figurative stuff. (Nude stuff), I'll post a pic when the lights good enough to photograph some of them.

Musically I'm partial to anything from Eurhythmics,Genesis to Michael Nyman or Eric Satie, but '79 was my year for popular music. I also like Movies but mostly Visually interesting movies like Peter Greenaway's; "Prospero's Books", Besson's "Nikita" & "Leon", Basically stick subtitles on it and I'll love it.

I also collect Graphic Novels, from artists like Milo Manara, Moebius (Jean Giraud), Tardi and Vittorio Giardino. Not to mention 2000 AD, and Heavy Metal Publications.

We also make home brew wine; best I've managed so far was 24� proof, on an Elderberry wine. Sadly the six bottles of this did not survive 1989, but on the brighter side two of them (along with a lot of spirits) did down two friends of ours from the 82nd Airborne Div (one was asleep on the bathroom floor next morning). It was good training for them before they went into Iraq for Desert Storm.

Currently we are house training a Cocker Spaniel puppy (maybe she's training us in?), so it's pretty much careful where you walk on entering the house.
