Goddess of control, suffocation, and darkness. Human Gods Greater Goddess Lakisa Iron Mother- Lawful Evil Goddess of will, rulership, command, intelligence, planning, martial might. Matriarch of the human pantheon. Depicted as a beautiful haughty woman with a two handed sword. Very libidinous. Frequently takes good and evil heroes up to her plane of existence where she will use them for a period of time, and then return them to the material plane. Usually they do not fare well in the exchange (she’s kind of jealous too). Afterwards it’s very common for her to bear a child from the union. Many of these have become gods or goddesses. Advocates very lassez faire child rearing techniques. Lesser God Tain- Chaotic Evil God of destruction, disease, disaster, change. A void being of shadow. He is everywhere and nowhere, and has always existed. He desires the destruction and annihilation of all things, if not in a bang, than by a process of slow decay. He is an outlaw god on the entire continent of Chandrukal, with suspicion of his worship being grounds for unpleasant trials and anything approaching proof being grounds for very painful execution. Lesser God Shorath the Quick- Neutral Evil Lakisa’s brother. God of thieves, liars, businessmen, deception, and wealth. He is not as formidable as she is in battle, but he has tricked her or bartered with her into sleeping with him on a number of occasions, usually when she has found herself in a corner because of Tain or one of the other gods. Greater Goddes Shule Firesoul- Lawful Good Daughter of Lakisa and Shorath, she is the goddess of justice, of protection, of healing, and of the hearth. Doesn’t like either her father or mother, but frequently fights alongside her mother to protect the humans. Paladins usually serve her. On at least two occasions she has taken one of her paladins as a lover, but on both occasions her mother (with Shorath’s help) tricked the paladin and bedded him as well. Demigod Javire the Frenzied - Chaotic Neutral One of Lakisa’s sons, the god of berzerkers. Lesser God Naros the skilled - Neutral Good Son of Shorath and a human, Naros is the god of craftspeople and doctors. He is the god of safe houses and mines, and will strengthen structures to protect people. He helps things to last longer than they should, or survive more than they should when it is necessary. Lesser Goddess Copela the stalker, Neutral Evil Lakisa’s favorite daughter, goddess of hunters (animal and bounty), inquisitors, spies, information gatherers, archers, the stealthy (some thieves), and seduction. Also known as Copela the Virgin for charming good men into doing evil, and then refusing them any reward. Has matched wits with Shorath on a few occasions and always managed to escape with her ‘virtue’ intact. Lesser God, Enlor, Neutral (Good) God of weather and wild animals. Demigoddess, Phimara, Neutral Good Goddess of farming and bounty. Also goddess of herbalists. Demigod Zurthos, Lawful Evil Son of Lakisa and Tain, but oddly one of Lakisa’s favorites. God of poisoning, assassination, betrayal, also trickery related to murder. Demigod Jal, Neutral God of swordsmanship. Also of swordsmiths. Oddly enough, does not advocate wholesale killing with swords, but of leaving your opponent alive so that you may learn from one another again. Thus the skill of swordsmanship improves. Does not hold with trickery or underhandedness. Remarkable for having beaten Lakisa repeatedly in single combat. Greater God, Borang, Neutral Evil God of the sea and sailors. Demands sacrifice to avoid catastrophes. Mercenary god, stories exist of merchant families getting into bidding wars for him to destroy one another. Sahaguin are reputed to raid so heavily at least partially to keep a steady supply of sacrifices for Borang so that he will destroy surface dwellers who intrude on their territory.
