I think one can be content with the quality of 40 percent, although I would prefer 20% as it is clearer. I think it is depending whom I will show the image on the net..so if it is a website for showing good photographs people will expect a longer downloading...when I display it on a normal website I would compress more..As the compression of 60% brings a faster download I was thinking about resizing the size of the file...so made another one resized to 90% and compressed to 40%. The result is on the bottom of the page. The image now has 10KB and a download of 2,3 sec. I think its worth also to think of the actual size of an image. In my opinion better a smaller image but better quality than a big large image and less quality. |
