Brazi's *****
This is Jim Creamer's, our President, favorite restaurant in New
Haven at 201 Food Terminal Plaza Long Wharf, right off 95. I
can see why, my wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining
there after wining a raffle prize of a $25.00 gift certificate at one
of the monthly meetings. They specialize in Italian cooking so we
though we would start off with the mussels, they were fantastic!
Since we have gone to Italy in the past we have become very
critical of very good Italian food, Brazi's came up too, and beat
our expectations. Our main entry was baked stuffed trout (one
that did not get released) and pasta with squid (calamari) both
dishes were excellent and worthy of a return trip. We did not
have desert, we were stuffed after appetizer and entree and of
course their delicious bread they serve as complimentary when
you are seated. The next time we go back we will have to try
their homemade cheesecake, since I know we will go back soon!
