An incomplete sentence with the absence of article (a, an, the) and verb-to-be.

In general, The structure of the sentence is wrong. However, In newspapers, it's always used as headings in order to attract the public's attention.

Also, area in a piece of newspaper is crowded so that headings in complete sentence is not suitable there.

Run-on
linking 2 main clauses without the use of conjunction.

e.g. I am a boy.
     She is a girl.

i'm a boy, she's a girl.

e.g. i worked hard.
      i failed.

i worked hard, i failed.

Although i worked hard, i failed.  O
i worked hard,
but i failed.       O


Run-on sentence is gramatically wrong. Learner should avoid making this kind of mistakes.

Finite Verb

It's the main verb of the main clause.

e.g. I
am a boy.
"am" is the finite verb.

e.g. He
stole my car.
"stole" is the finite verb.



Non-finite Verb

It may be in participle form ,continuous form or to-verb. Unlike Finite Verb, Non-finite Verb is not the main verb of the main clause.

e.g. I
saw him running.
"saw" is the finite verb and "running" is the non-finite verb.

e.g. After
taking a look, i found the mistakes.
