| Sudan, is the largest country in Africa. It lies in the northeastern part of the continent, and has a 400-mile coastline on the Red Sea. The Sudan is a land with widely differing people & geography. It sprawls across three distinct natural regions, ranging from bleak desert in the north to grassy plains in central Sudan and a great swamp and steaming tropical rainforest in the south. Khartoum is the capital city. |
