| Macedonia is a mountainous nation in the Balkan Peninsula in southeastern Europe. It covers 25,636 square miles (66,397 square kilometers). Most of the people are farmers. They raise barley, corn, rice, rye, tobacco, wheat, fruits & vegetables, and sheep and goats. Macedonia is inhabited chiefly by Slavs in the north and Greeks in the south. Skopje is the capital name of Macedonia. |
