THEY NEVER NEW

Underneath those layers of lies,
Is fear fear from answers she doesn't dare to find.

Beyond her smiles and laughter,
Is hidden pain she hasn't mastered.

Underneath her playful mind,
Is a broken past, and regretted lost time.

Imbedded in her blackened heart,
Is a beautiful soul, anxious to start.

Underneath her boyish ways,
Is too much of a women for most men these days.

And one day,
They will see what and who she has become,
what they never expected her to be.

An amazingly beautiful women...
thats me.

FRIEND

Night swimming in the ocean.
A cleansing time.
When the stars still shown in the sky.
Reflecting in the depths of your ocean self.
Don't forget the star's.
Forgetfulness, like non-believing will destroy.
So clap your hands together for the fairy's.
Dance the tango with a perfectly formed rose.
The one that struggled to live and then was hung.
But still it tried.
And it didn't forget the star's.
It turned to face them every night.
Like the sunflower follows the sun.
But only when its burdens aren't too heavy.
For the sunflower has only one chance.
One stalk to get it right.
But an apple tree fathers many son's.
They are hanging too.
All these made chances.
Chances and risks and instinks.
All with an unforgotten star.
embedded inside.
So look inside yourself and remember
the forgotten stars
and give yourself a chance.

LOST LOVE

Taken back by this love
that I could not save.
And you have left me here,
to be swallowed by the pain.

For so deaply I loved
this piece of my heart.
Never letting you fall
too far into the dark.

Can you stop a tear from falling?
Can you just stop feeling?
Or does this pain kill all
but the longing inside?

So now you are gone,
and my heart is crying.
For my "great" love,
could not keep this storm from coming.

And I will go on,
maybe even loving,
But never will they rest,
these feelings that haunt me
