Only the front of the stage is lighted. We hear the sound of a heavy door being closed. Judith and Jeremy, having each a bottle of wine in their hands, are living the theatre.

JUDITH
So?

         The Chronicler appears behind them.

JEREMY
It was... transcendently pathetic, Jud...

JUDITH
Y'like it?

JEREMY, being "draculaesque"
Love it death...

JUDITH, noticing The Chronicler
Hey -

JEREMY
Hello there -

THE CHRONICLER, handling her camera
Sorry to bother you... Would you mind taking a pose, for a quick one?

                                  JEREMY, looking at Judith, amused
                                  Sure!

                                  JUDITH
Ask - and, you shall receive -

                                  THE CHRONICLER
Are you still in for something violent?

                                  JUDITH
                                  Violent?

                                  THE CHRONICLER
Stylised violence - (talking to Jeremy:) take her by the throat
and move as if you were to kiss her.

Judith and Jeremy have some difficulties to remain serious.

JEREMY
Violent?

The figurers take the pose. The Chronicler takes the picture.

THE CHRONICLER, as she's taking the picture
Thank you, very much.

JUDITH
Hey.

JEREMY
I'm a natural'

THE CHRONICLER, she heads back to the theatre
Good night!

JEREMY & JUDITH
Good night!

We hear from some distance Apple O'Hara (OFF): "The next poem... is, also, headed... 'Sweet little boy'".
