December 2001. He was supposed to be a Christmas present, but
ended up as a cheering up present for Anne. He is a very cuddleable bear.
In November 2005, Scooter got stitches in his right leg because of rough-housing.
Scooter spends most of his time sleeping. He does come out to play and watch TV. He likes to sit face to face with people and press his nose to theirs.
Scooter has learned how to wave 'hello' and 'goodbye.' He has also learned how to head-butt and bite. (He learned from watching a television program about grizzly bears.) He is still learning how to do a somersault.
Scooter's favorite television station is Animal Planet. His favorite football team is, of course, the Chicago Bears. He likes to sit in front of the television and place his nose against the glass, but he isn't allowed to do that very often. He loves the camera. He likes board games and enjoys playing Life and Sorry, but can be very grumpy about being picked on.
He doesn't like to wake up early and is very very grumpy about it. Scooter also hates baths and static electricity.
