Dear Papaw Joe, Nanny, Tammi and all of Mr. William's loved ones:

On this 3rd anniversary of Mr. William's day into heaven I wanted to do something special.
Not knowing exactly what,
I called on Lori as I have many times before and we decided on a quilt.
She's a sweety with a big heart and had most of the squares done before I finished one.
She has always come through for those bereaved, always.
Cathy taught me how to install a tube, bless her heart.
Terri graciously lent us her graphic of Mr. William.

My daughter sometimes goes through Ben's guest book and not long ago asked who Papaw Joe was.
After thinking for a minute or two,
I said you might say he's my spiritual advisor.
Ha, he probably didn't know that himself !
That was the best description,
it fit for me.
In more than a year,
I have witnessed a man of true faith with always kind words,
caring deeds for others and so encouraging for those of us who ask why.
There is no doubt in my mind there's a reason we have come to know the other.
Mr. William, Ben, Brice and others are there,
on the other side, leading us down here.

I've never physically met your little guy but he's been tugging at my heart for sometime now.
