"Lady Champagne Hannah"
October 16, 1994-May 24, 2001
Only a dog,
but such love you gave,
Cannot have perished in that grave.
So constant and faithful and true at heart,
Must in eternity have some part.
And sometimes I fancy, when I've crossed life's sea,
I'll find you there waiting...
To welcome me.

It's true what they say Hannah...
"the saddest sound in the universe is the sound of the last heartbeat".

We realize today that what we did for you was something
you could not do for yourself.
God does the same thing for us humans,
He does the things we cannot do for ourselves
and he expects us to do the same for our animals.
We know in our hearts that we did it for you Hannah, not ourselves,
for if we had been thinking of ourselves
we would not have been able to send you home.

I saw you on the bridge yesterday.
You were sitting there patiently waiting, tail wagging...
and you were smiling.
You were a puppy again Hannah,
so healthy, so clean and so white,
waiting for us
to walk you across.
We'll be there someday girl,
and I can't wait to see you again!

We love you big girl Hannah
and we want you to know that you will ALWAYS be with us,
in a place in our hearts,
reserved for only our most treasured friends.

Your Mom and Dad,
Michael and Cheryll
PaPa gave us a white rose bush for your garden grave big girl.
I've been watching it
and just today I see that it has two beautiful white roses on it!
I wish you were here to smell it!
I miss you in the garden...
