100% cotton
First quality, pre-washed and ironed quilt shop fabric ONLY...
Anything less will be returned to you unswapped.
COLORS
Whatever colors you think your "stuff" will look good in.
BACKGROUND
Unbleached MUSLIN only please
PATTERN CONSTRUCTION
The pattern can be the construction method of your choice:
Applique (either machine or hand stitched)
Paper Pieced
Traditional Pieced
If you choose to do fusible applique, the edges MUST be secured with either
a SATIN STITCH, FEATHER STITCH, BLANKET or BUTTONHOLE STITCH.
Again, no paint or glue to secure the edges please.
EMBELLISHMENTS
You may embellish your blocks with any kind of decorations you like
AS LONG AS THEY WILL WITHSTAND WASHING
(
NO PAINT OR GLUE)
So by all means, put some flowers
(or even little critters like lady bugs, butterflies or  bumble bees in your baskets!

BLOCK SIZE
This is a SAMPLER swap.  Blocks can be 6-1/2" to 12-1/2" (unfinished).
Be sure to use a 1/4" seam allowance so your blocks will finish at 6-12".
Even a 6"X12" (finished)block would be fun!
NUMBER OF BLOCKS
Make no more than 30 blocks with no more than 9 alike
and be sure to keep one for yourself!
PACKAGING AND MAILING
Please put a self stick lable ON THE BACK of each block. 
Sticky notes are just fine as long as they are on the back.
Put all of your blocks in a zip lock baggie with "to" and "from" information
INSIDE
in case there is a tear in the outer mailer.
Please put the same postage

IN STAMPS
as you used to mail the blocks to me.
The USPO will not accept metered postage on the return envelope.
Email me when you're ready to send your blocks and I will reply with my snail mail address.
