| From our home to yours -- My husband and I live at the 3000' level in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of Northern California. We moved from Southern California 34 years ago and have loved every minute of it. We have three daughters and five grandchildren. When I'm not quilting or dyeing fabric, I am playing golf, traveling, and singing in a woman's barbershop quartet and an eight part harmony mix choral group -- 40 voices strong. | This was last winter from our deck looking down the driveway. We ended up with 8" of snow by the end of the day. That is a lot for our area but what a beautiful place it makes. January 2001 |
