to the West Coast Christians Web Ring
Thanks for visiting the home page of West Coast Christians!
This ring has been created by me, Teri, in late April, 2000, in response
to a need I saw when searching for a regional web ring I would want to
join. (For me, “regional” means either Seattle/Tacoma, Washington State,
the Pacific Northwest, or the West Coast.) Being a born-again Christian,
I am particular about the content in the web rings I choose to join. I
will not join any ring that contains content related to the occult or
any other anti-Christian practices, or which contain coarse language,
etc. The problem with “secular” web rings is that this type of content
can rear its ugly head, even when the ring qualifications specify
“family friendly”. That’s why I don’t belong to many of those – and
periodically check the few I do belong to.
Just the night before I put together this ring, I searched
Webring for a ring I would want to
join in either my state of Washington, or the Pacific Northwest. I
almost thought I found one. But near the end of its listings appeared a
site with a name that sounded questionable to me. I looked at that
site’s home page, and sure enough, it contained language and content I
did not wish to link to.
Searching a little farther, I found not one, but two
rings for “Northwest Pagans”, but nothing for Christians in the West or
Northwest. To me, this was a glaring omission. I felt that since I saw
the need for a web ring that would unite Christian sites in the West, I
would need to create one. So I did! It is said that the Northwest is the
most unchurched area of the U.S. Let’s unite and make a statement that
there is indeed a solid core group of born-again believers here in the
Great West!
I welcome you with open arms to be a part of West Coast
Christians if you and your site meet these few requirements:
- You are a resident of one of the following states or provinces in or
near the Pacific Time Zone: Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho,
Nevada, Alaska, Hawaii, or the Canadian provinces of British Columbia or
Alberta.
- Your site must contain some content identifying you as a born-again
believer in Jesus Christ. Your site must not contain content, including
links or web rings, that deal with any anti-Christian practices or
beliefs, unacceptable language, etc. I will determine what constitutes
unacceptable content.
- It would be nice if your site contained some info, or at least a
link or two, regarding the area of the West you live in and why you
enjoy it, though this is not mandatory. However, somewhere on your site,
you should at least identify the Western state or province you live
in.

If this sounds like you, please fill out and submit the form
below! Please also save the West Coast Christians logo, on the left side
of the sample ring box below, by right-clicking on it. Put the HTML
fragment on your site, following the instructions in the E-mail you will
be sent. E-mail me when this has been done and I will check your page
and add you to the ring. Thank you, and I look forward to having your
site in WCC! God bless. Love, Me (Teri)

I also own another web ring, Christian Crocheters, for born-again
Christian women who love to crochet. Click here for
the home page of that ring!
Please visit my web site, Teri's Evergreen Refuge, by

visitors!
