Well, I'm a fairly crafty person.  I like to personalize anything I can if possible!  Lol*  I suppose everyone has their own personal style, and mine is sort of Country Living meets Country Sampler.  Well, that's what I like anyhow!  My projects and my home might be a different story!  Lol* 

     In any case...though quilting is my currently my favorite hobby, I still am up to lots of other projects...and for you to see, here they be...  :)

Here is a cabinet I decided to refinish.  We actually have two of these.  One is now in my living room, and looks pretty much like this...though I've made it sort of our game and project cupboard, so it now holds things like puzzles, games, video games, coloring books, crayons, and all that kind of fun stuff.  The other I painted a pretty country red color and took out the plexi-glass that once sat behind the grid woodwork on the doors.  The plan is to eventually, when I get around to it, put chicken wire in to replace it...to make it even more country!  Lol*

   I tried my best not to distort this too much while making it small enough that you don't have to wait years for pictures to load.  I am so pleased with how this came out!  Very very country for me!  Lol*  I moved some of the things I have on display in there a bit, so it doesn't look quite like this now...though it has yet to be fitted with chicken wire.  Lol*

   I wish I'd taken a better picture of this!  I had just taken a quick shot to show a friend online what I did here, but have ended up passing it around so much, I guess I figure what the heck, let's just put that terrible picture on my web site!  Lol*

   Anyhow!  This is the top of a toy box I painted for my four year old daughter, McKenzie.  She is all about Care Bears these days.  She asked me about a year ago if I could decorate her room with Care Bears...it was previously decorated in Precious Moments, what I had chosen for her nursery.  So this toy box was yellow with a Precious Moments scene printed on it.  Well, you know me...I'm not about to go buy something new!  Why here's a perfectly good toy box, all it needs is some paint!  So, this was a three day job!  Lol*  But I like it, and so does she...so, time well spent.  :)

Well, it's taking me just forever to add to this site, but I promise, more will come!  Lol*  With two babes now, I still spend time online, but usually I'm running around while the computer sits...connected.  Lol*  I have some knitting and crochet projects I will put up soon...and also a lil' sign doodad for my In-Laws front yard I will pop up here.  :)  Come back!  Yes, please, come back!  Lol*
