I must apologise profusely as we have yet another failed batch. We may be nearer a workable solution however. The latest GELFtypes are immensely powerful, alas they are hyper-aggressive as well. On emerging from the tubes they awoke quickly and began attacking the staff, each other and even the building. Security had to pulse them several times before they were subdued and twelve employees are currently in the medical centre. Fortunately they are likely to make a full recovery with only modest implant replacement. This GELFtype might be useful but I doubt it is what the Generals want. The bug should be removed from their DNA within a week and a new batch can be grown.
Also, apologies for the rejects that stowed away on the last transport shuttle. I hope they did not do too much harm."

Subject: Achilles Failure #1 Fixed

The Marketing Department have finally found a use for the botched GELFs you created last October. The stunted stowaways managed to get free on the station and evaded the security teams sent to destroy them for quite a while. During this period a large amount of odd thefts occured, it was only when a nest was found that we discovered their magpie-like tendancies. In itself quite useless but they were also observed to consume almost anything they found without serious ill effects. We think this may be due to their fungal-plant elements. Regardless of that, Jones in Marketing says they could be really good at cleaning up some of those Toxic areas the government keeps blaming on our company. We're going to give them a test run on Knuj IV. This may actually save your job."

The Royal Navy's new flagship, HMS Invincible, was offially launched from HMS Alfheim last night. This is the first ship of its type in the fleet. The only people on board will be the officers. All the other ships functions will be dealt with by special GELF units. The lithe new GELFtype has been custom made after rigorous defence research to tolerate and potentially thrive in the harsh realities of deep space.
The ship may soon see action that will test all of its new systems since peace talks in the Cerberus system broke down last week. HMS Invincible will join an Alliance Task Force heading into the area, due to exit from local Riftspace on Saturday."
