In most cases, a pregnancy is planned and the child is excitedly awaited. But there are those sad occasions when the pregnancy wasn't planned, not wanted or circumstances beyond the mother's control happens. I pray that the decision, if the baby cannot be kept, is to put the baby up for adoption. Adoption IS the loving option.
That's what my biological mother did for me in 1945, she chose Adoption, the loving option. I know that decision was one of the hardest she has ever had to make, but she gave me life and loving parents to raise me. And I thank God every day for her decision. I also thank God that He brought us back together. True it was 42 years later, but our reunion came at a time in both of our lives when we needed it the most.
In this part of my website you will read our stories. Mine on being adopted and finding my sweet mother and hers on being found. We spend a lot of thought and time writing our stories in hopes that they may help others who have been in our situations or are going through it.
It is with a sad heart and through tears that I must tell you all that my beloved mother, my best friend, went to be with our Lord in Heaven on New Year's Eve 2002. Though we only had 12 years together on earth, she is saving me a place next to her and Our Lord in Heaven! What a fantastic Guardian Angel I now have! I have posted a few pages in memory of her and you can visit them through the link below.
I have also included a number of sites that I thought would be helpful in resources available to adoptees and birth parents. Please take time to sign our guestbook and let us know your thoughts!

References/Resources These are just a few of the great sites that may be of help to you in your search or if you need emotional support. Jan is a very dear friend who took time from her busy schedule to edit each of our stories. She made sure all the t's were crossed and i's dotted. And most importantly, made sure that what we said was what we wanted to say. Thank you so much Jan!!! You're the greatest!
