Elizabeth (Beth) Marie Robbins August 18, 1926 - December 31, 2002
Our best friend, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Elizabeth (Beth) Marie Gaines Robbins left with the angels to go to Our Lord on Tuesday, December 31, 2002 from her home in Quihi, Texas. We all believe that the fireworks that night were in celebration of her life and that every star in the sky twinkled with the joy that she was now at home, peacefully in the Lord's arms.
Born August 18, 1926 in Shreveport, Louisiana Beth had lived 76 years, the last 12 in Quihi. She moved here after living over 42 years in St. Johns, Michigan.
Beth loved her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, reading, fishing, traveling, photography and fishing. She was in her element with a rod and reel waiting for the next nibble. Beth loved being outdoors waiting for her roses to bloom and watching carefully for the hummingbird’s to come back in the spring. She loved people and life and lived each day with the love of Christ in her heart and ways.
Her beloved family that welcomed her home to Our Lord were: her parents, Frank and Alberta; brothers, Frank Albert and William Pavey; husband, Virgil and son Raymond Scott. We’re pretty sure that Heaven rocked with that blessed reunion.
Left behind to keep her love and memory alive are her children: Katherine Ann (husband, Kenneth), Wendy and Gerald Frank and her beloved sister Ann (husband, Andy). Her grandchildren Kimberly; Kirk (wife, Jennifer); Staff Sergeant Ken (wife, Annjannette), USMC; Randell (wife, Whitney); Christopher (wife, Christine); Heather Lynn; Eric; and Mark will miss the sneaky smile and laugh they shared with their beloved grandmother, that Heather called Grams. She was blessed with great-grandchildren: Kristina Marie & Krista Ann-Marie ; Ken III & Karley Elizabeth, Kaitlyn Marie, Kolby James, Kassie Angeline, Cameron Jon, Lauren Elizabeth, Jacob Christopher and Zachary James, who will all remember their BooBoo with all the memories they built through the years.
Though tears were shed for the loss of this special angel in our lives, our memories of her will be only happy loving ones, of the years enjoying her laughter, sneaky looks and ever fascinating imagination. She shared and encouraged us all to use our imaginations and expand it; to never let the child inside of us die, but to nurture it, let it grow and explore. Thank you Lord for sharing your special angel with us all these years and now thank you God for giving us the greatest Guardian Angel ever! (Mom's roses are used for the background.) |
