| ;The preparations for the event were already underway when Wufei arrived, and in the confusion it was easy enough to pass himself off as a soldier. He relayed everything he heard back to Robin through a small radio transmitter that Robin said he never left home without. Hearing the information that was going around, both boys were shocked. Instead of the more militant officials, the peaceful ones were supposed to meet here in less than a day. Robin verified this by checking their schedules and was horrified to find that this was true. Wufei sneaked out of the proceedings and went unerringly to where Robin and the two Gundams were hidden. They maneuvered the Gundams to better places should the other Gundams attack. Then all that was left to do was wait. | ||||||||||||||
| Wufei went back to working at the conference hall so that he could keep an eye on where the delegates went if and when other people attacked. In doing so, both he and Robin would be in a better position to help the delegates during attack. They did not have long to wait. A few hours after the conference started the other fabled Gundams attacked. Robin kept to his hiding place for the moment, waiting for Wufei to tell him which escape vessel he should protect. Moments later the information came through, and Robin was on his way. The delegates plane came into view, along with another angelic looking Gundam. He saw that he had no time to open a communications link, and so concentrated on keeping the other Gundam from slicing open the plane. | ||||||||||||||
| He came up from beneath the other Gundam, and if the other pilot noticed Robin?s presence, he showed no indication. Robin used the Redbirds guan do, without the blade ignited, to protect the plane from the other Gundams beam saber. That done he positioned himself between the Gundam and the retreating plane. He then frantically opened the communications link and sent all the information he and Wufei had collected over the past hours. Again the other pilot gave no indication of receiving the information Robin was sending. Robin, having sent the information, then tried talking to the other pilot, grateful that his communications link was open, it would save him the trouble of hacking into the others operating system to open it himself. The other Gundam attacked, and Robin found himself hard pressed to defend himself. | ||||||||||||||
| "Hey, stop! I sent you all the information. That plane is full of the pacifists!" | ||||||||||||||
| The other still gave no indication of having heard. | ||||||||||||||
| "Shit" Robin swore before forgetting about talking and gave his defense his full concentration. | ||||||||||||||
| He noticed three other Gundams with which he was not familiar. To his relief two of them were fighting amongst themselves while the other was seemingly watching. A moment later he noticed Wufei in his Gundam heading toward the three Gundams. He opened his communications link so that any mobile suit could hail him, and continued dodging. He was fairly certain that this pilot did not understand the situation, | ||||||||||||||
| "Fucking LOOK at the data I gave you!" Robin shouted. | ||||||||||||||
| This caused the other Gundam to falter for a moment, giving Robin a slight breather, and allowing him to hear what the other Gundams were saying to each other. | ||||||||||||||
| "Wait!" the one that was watching exclaimed as the other two Gundams flew toward each other. Robin, keeping an eye on his opponent, saw Wufei send a blast of fire between the two fighting Gundams and start to speak, but Robin was not able to appreciate the speech. The winged Gundam started attacking again. | ||||||||||||||
| "What the hell is wrong with you?" Robin asked, his voice slightly strained by desperation. He hailed Wufei "A little help here?" | ||||||||||||||
| But on his monitor he saw that the hatch to Wufeis Gundam was open, indicating he was not in the cockpit. Thinking that might be a way to convince the other to stop attacking, Robin landed the Redbird and was about to open the hatch when the others beam saber started sawing through his Gundam. | ||||||||||||||
| "Stop! Stop, Im coming out, stop attacking!" | ||||||||||||||
| This again made the other pilot pause in his actions. However before Robin could open the hatch a mobile suit appeared on his screens, and without thinking he ignited the flame on the guan do and slashed through the unfortunate mobile suit. Before the attacking suit even blew up, he realized his mistake. The other Gundam sliced through the Redbird, right above the cockpit. Though the cockpit was not breached, Robin could feel the heat from the beam saber. Reacting more than thinking, Robin opened the hatch and ran out of his Gundam. Before he could even exit the short corridor the explosions caught him and threw him out of the Redbird. | ||||||||||||||
| ;Robin found himself flying through the air, no longer conscious of the burns and wounds he must have suffered from the explosions. The ground rushing up to meet him did not even engage his interest. He did not feel anything as he fell, no pain, no fear, and even the thought that he was going to die did not phase him. | ||||||||||||||
| ;He awoke to find himself in the same ornate door-less room he had been in before the creature had sent him to that other existence. A little surprised to still be alive, he looked for the creature that had sent him to that other world. At the moment the creature was female, though young, and in a white little-girl dress. On her face she wore a smile that revealed the tips of her teeth, and a twinkle in her eye. Robin, in his Robin outfit, looked at her impassively, wondering why she was smiling. | ||||||||||||||
| "Was that your revenge?" He asked when it became apparent she was not going to speak first. | ||||||||||||||
| "Oh no." She purred through her smile, and suddenly Robin found himself next to his car, which was also nicknamed the Redbird. Shaking his head, glad to be alive, he got into the Redbird, and drove back to the lair. | ||||||||||||||

| Don't be sad... this isn't really the end. Timi says she's got a sequel in mind. This may not be the end for the boy wonder. | ||||||||||||||
