Trak Nar

Age: late-teens, early-twenties

Height: 1.49 meters

Species: Rodian half-breed

Biography:  Trak Nar is a Rodian half-breed.  Growing up on Coruscant, he never knew his mother as he was raised in one foster home after another until he aged out of the program.  He took a job at the HoloNet music station WJDI as a VJ.  There, he worked with two other Rodian VJs Jarik and Aloornni.  Despite his prowess as a VJ and the length of time he has worked, Trak remained an intern, as the station manager disliked him for being a half-breed.

Trak lives in a nice apartment that is paid for by deposits from his mother’s earnings.  It was only after he met with two Jedi (Ric’ah T’rib (a Twi’lek) and her padawan Dareth Pan’dha) was Trak reunited with his mother, Camilla “CamiSookanado.

Physical description:  Trak Nar is shorter than most Rodians, and his skin is mottled green and tan.  Due to his parentage, he has a shorter snout than most Rodians, a more-defined jawline, and prominent cheekbones.  He is capable of more expression than Rodians as well.  Trak also does not secrete the musky pheromones that Rodians usually do.

Being a cross-breed, Trak unfortunately suffers from various problems due to genetic incompatibility.  His small stature, shortened lifespan, and his vision problems are all linked to those incompatibilities.  Despite that, Trak is friendly and outgoing and intends to live life to the fullest.

Trak wears glasses as he is slowly going blind.  Though, he has mentioned being able to “see as if everything is made up of little points of light,” to which his friend Dareth said could be Force Sight.

Camilla “CamiSookanado

Age: Late-thirties

Height: 1.7 meters

Species: Rodian

Biography: Camilla “CamiSookanado is a retired Rodian bounty hunter.  During the height of her career, Cami was successful at apprehending many outlaws and became financially secure.  She enjoyed fame from her homeworld and had earned several Atiang awards, mostly “Longest Trail.”  She was a trained melee fighter and kept knives and daggers hidden in her clothes.

Cami’s success came to an abrupt end one unfortunate hunt.  She was tracking a quarry to the furthest reaches of the galaxy when she found herself on some primitive backwater world called “Earth.”  She followed her bounty through an urban area, where she was found and captured by Earth officials.  Almost immediately, she was handed over to government scientists, stripped of her weapons, and imprisoned in a government laboratory for several years.  There, Cami was used in various experiments, one of which was when she was artificially inseminated with human DNA in a bizarre attempt to create a hybrid.

Soon afterwards, Cami managed to escape with the help of an Earthling ally during what she heard called a “9/11 crisis.”  Finding her ship, Cami left Earth and sent out a distress signal as she succumbed to a catatonic state due to her ordeal.

Cami was admitted to a psychiatric hospital on Coruscant, where she later gave birth to Trak Nar.  Trak was taken away and put up for adoption as Cami wasn’t of sound mind to care for a child.  Cami remained in the psychiatric hospital for a few years, when she was released and immediately retired from bounty hunting.  She was placed in a group home and spent her days in cantinas, trying to drink away her memories.

Cami was found at one such cantina by an old friend of hers, Ric’ah T’rib.  It was through Ric’ah that Cami was reunited with her son, Trak Nar.

Physical description:  Cami is a wiry Rodian female.  She wears a skullcap that obscures most of the spines on her head and many of the scars from her time spent on Earth.  She is missing her right antenna as it was surgically removed by Earth scientists.  She has numerous scars all over her body, which she hides by wearing long sleeves and pants.  She has a scar that snakes from her right ear, around the top of her head, and back to her left ear, along with a scar beside her left eye, and one on the right side of her jaw.

Cami keeps knives and daggers hidden on her, as she suffers from extreme paranoia.  She’ll often go into a “fugue state” where she’ll try and “wash her scars away” by obsessively scrubbing them.  She is reserved, quiet, and distrustful of all humans.
