Music
If you are fortunate - you will never hear me play a note...  Well, I'm not that bad, but you can be certain that you will never see the words "professional musician" on my resume.

I began playing piano at 7, the trumpet in middle school, the violin in college, and the Galician bagpipes in seminary.

I am an alum of the University of Miami's Band of the Hour under the direction of Michael Mann. This was one of the most important experiences in college.. The band taught me honor, pride and discipline. In addition to playing at the football games I was a member of the men's and women's basketball band and had the opportunity to play at the Micron PC Bowl Game as well as to travel to Ireland to be a part of the 1999 St. Patrick's Day Parade.

My bagpipes are made of rosewood, they were crafted in Pontevedra, Spain.  My goal is to learn the tunes of the town of Portela, which is nearby the village of Porta Silva in Rodeiro, Galicia, Spain.

I am also a member of
Bugles Across America, a non-profit volunteer organization that provides live buglers who play taps at the funerals of veterans.
