I use this background far too much on this website. I'm at work, between tasks. I'm tired. I've been up and going since 7 today. I made three apple pies with my grandpa, and damn are they good. Too bad for you all you can't have any, *evil cackle*. It will probably be gone in a few days anyway with the size of pieces Randy cuts himself. But I'll be sure to gorge myself on this one being that I made it.
Everything is going well with our new dog, not so new anymore I suppose. Her name is Murphy, in case y'all don't remember. Her newest extremely cute thing she's doing is looking for the dog in the mirror. She sees her reflection in my full length mirror propped up by my closet door and she'll look around the back of the mirror, and in the closet, and then proceeds to search my entire room for "the other dog". The poor sweetie gets so confused, and when ultimately defeated, she lies down on my bed looking perplexed. Makes me wish I had a video camera. Anyway...I think all is going well at this very moment. Never can tell about the next though. :)

I thought it was Thursday all day today because I'm at work tonight, and I'm not usually here on Wednesdays. I actually wasn't supposed to be here, Faye was, but I got mixed up, doesn't take much for me, so now I'm working tonight and tomorrow. But that's fine. Punkey is gone now off to Africa, for 9 months...man. I'm sure she will write though. Speaking of writing, I don't have much to say here. I've been going thru pens like crazy, I must be all written out. So.................*long sigh*.........I think I shall go. If I do not get back to this thing again, Happy Thanksgiving everyone....eat lots of food.

November 20, 2001 Tuesday

I was in a good mood today because i got one of the limited edition cd's the Pumpkins just put out. Plus their dvd with every one of their videos. Lovely. But now the office's cd player won't work, bah! But oh well, I'll have it to listen to tonight when I get home. I leave tomorrow at around 6 pm for Orcas Island. My sister April is driving us up with her two kids (my niece Samme and nephew Ben), we're staying in Anacortes for the night and taking the ferry over in the morning. I can't wait. Lici, I'm sorry I'm not going to be around while you actually have time off from work. But I'll be back Sunday evening. Uhh...what else do I want to say here, I guess that's it for tonight. Everyone stuff yourselves silly for Thanksgiving, because that's what it's for.

January 2, 2002 Wednesday

Well, I haven't written anything here for a while. I'm on Orcas Island with Sorren. Visiting Dad and my sister's and Margaret. It's been fun. I can't really think right now, I'm a bit tired. I swear we sleep more then anything around here, it's really a vacation when you come to this island. We've been staying up until 4 am and sleeping until noon. Taking naps. Going to town. Hitch-hiking back and forth. No big parties this time, meh. New Year's was sorta lame, went to this concert thing, one of the bands "Chinese Motorcycle" were great, the rest sucked, and the venue....if you could call it that, was cold as hell. We missed the new year actually because we had hitched a ride into town, we got out of the car and i looked at my watch "oh look, it's ten past midnight". Meh, oh well. Hope you all had more interesting times. Hopefully safe. Tomorrow Lilly and Sorren and I are taking a ferry to Friday Harbor (on San Juan Island) to buy hair dye. Lilly is planning on pink (great!) Sorren I think is not going to dye hers since this is the first time her natural color has come thru for years, and I may go with a copperish red or a dark purple red. Not permenant. I'm not particularly looking forward to comming home, I miss Murphy, miss my friends. Have to start school monday, and although I have a easy schedule (yoga sculpture and writing) I'm dreading it. *sigh* I guess I'm just dreading an empty bed and cold room at home.
We rented Clerks and Chasing Amy the other night, we stayed up until 4:30 watching the movies. Tonight we have Memento. Which I have seen but Mint and Lilly haven't. I love it. It's crazy as hell.
I think I'm going to try and put up some new links on my front page, it probably won't be too interesting to any of you people unless your a hopeless fan of the Smashing Pumpkins. But it will make it easy for me to access them all anyway.
Not sure what else to say here. Need a car, need a job, need some motivation. Doesn't everyone. Anyway, I hope you are all doing well.
